My 7th grade wonders face more obstacles on their way to school daily than most students do in a lifetime. Despite the many obstacles in their lives, my students travel from all parts of Philadelphia to a magnet school in an extremely impoverished, dangerous neighborhood. Despite it all, they are all writing and reading above grade level and on the road to attending the best high schools in Philadelphia.

About my class
