Our classroom library is an amazing resource with a treasure of wonderful books for reading, math, science, and history. Children who have access to great books become great readers. Your donation will help provide an independent learning opportunity for all of my students. By having book bins, the children will be able to pull out the bins independently and make book selections during independent reading, guided math, or research workshop. Our classroom library is a key component to helping my students learn and research on their level. I have organized the books in book tubs that are too heavy for first graders to manage independently. These book bins will allow students the opportunity to explore independently while being responsible for their own learning.
