Help my students return to the classroom after a year of pandemic learning by training in various martial arts disciplines from different cultures around the world. This class is a PE and Health class, so the PE part will involve martial arts training at the school facility. The Health class will meet virtually and we will explore how different cultures approach holistic health and wellness. The martial arts equipment will allow students to work in pairs to practice strikes and maneuvers. Karate, Muy Thai, Dambe, Capoeira, and Thai Chi are some of the disciplines we will explore.
