My students are English language learners in grades 3-5. Our school is 96% economically disadvantaged in a struggling district in PA. My students are curious and they love learning and educating others. Unfortunately, resources are so scarce that their opportunities to learn to do meaningful research are severely limited. English language learners are often a marginalized group, but I have a plan to help them become school leaders.
