I have 23 amazing students in my 2nd grade class. They are bright, bubbly, funny, I am the luckiest teacher to have them. In 2nd grade many of them are just past the beginning stages of reading and need to find that one book that hooks them. The school I work in is very diverse and some of my students are also homeless. School is a place for them to feel safe and enjoy learning.
