My students use technology daily but they are not proficient when it comes to using a graphing calculator to analyze functions and their graphs. I will use the TI-84 Emulator software to model functions on the overhead while they use their devices in their groups. This device is a power tool in the mathematics classroom but most students have no idea of the power of this machine. We will use this software along with their devices on a daily basis in every class. This technology has changed the way I teach mathematics in my classroom! Along with the software for displaying the calculator to the entire group, I also require an updated handheld device for use with small groups. By donating to this project, you will help to further my students' curiosity with mathematics and hopefully, an even larger increase in their achievement will follow.
