The students at this elementary school are part of a very small school, one section per grade, grades K-6. Programs for this school are often poorly funded compared to other schools in the district since it has a smaller population. These children are also brought up in low-socioeconomic conditions and often can't afford rich musical experiences outside of the school day. There are also several students within this school that are either in foster care or have recently been adopted. It is apparent that many of them are very excited about music but there are very few resources available to them at the school. There are currently two drums that aren't in disrepair and a handful of classroom instruments currently available to the 144 students that attend this school.
