I teach science at a Title 1 school in a rural area in North Carolina. My 5th grade classroom is ethnically diverse, with a population including African American, Hispanic, and Hmong students. Several of my students receive ELL instruction, and other students receive tiered intervention services. Some of my children get backpacks filled with food to last them through the weekend. My class is needy emotionally and financially. Your help makes a big difference!
