Our school has just this year been noted as a Title One School. Therefore our students are coming from lower income families where parents are both working or not in the picture at all. Our kids go home to themselves most days or with an older sibling or grandparent. Our school is working hard to teach these students the basics needed to survive and be successful as they enter the working/college world and it starts from a very young age.
