Our students are extremely talented, and have so much to gain from doing theatre. They are learning how to express themselves, and recognizing their natural gifts, and the ones they need to fine tune through hard work. Our students come from very low income backgrounds, and are attending Yes Prep in order to ensure a college degree, a successful future, and endless possibilities. The academics are extremely demanding, and this club provides an outlet for them. The purchase of these supplies would put a strain on many of the families, and could potentially discourage participation.

About my class
