My English as Second Language classroom consists of 25 English language learners in the sixth grade. Some of the students just moved to the country, while others have lived in the USA for several years. Living in a urban city, many of the students face many hardships at such a young age. Many of the students come from Spanish speaking countries, such as The Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. Other students in the classroom are from Laos, Senegal, Gambia, and Iraq. Together, they are inspiring each other to become great citizens of the USA.

About my class
