My students attend a Title One school and are in a urban area. Most of my students live in apartments and are from single parent households. Through the use of these games and positive feedback from me, my students get past the "I can't do it" to the "Hey, I persevered and got it". They hear so many times that "That's just not your thing"...but here we learn that I can do anything if I put my mind to it...literally.
