My students are diverse learners coming from a range of different backgrounds from low socio-economic backgrounds. They love school and love learning. They read at lunch and at recess and cannot get enough of new texts in our classroom library. They are always asking for different texts that involve what we are currently studying in science or social studies and love applying what we are currently learning to something that they have read or can read.
