My students attend a public school in Lombard, IL. I couldn't be prouder of my students. They are dedicated, intelligent, creative and eager young musicians. My students are the biggest reason I love my job. In my classroom we sing, move, play barred instruments and drums. The instruments are used in virtually every lesson in grades K-5. Donating to our school means affecting the music education of over 400 students on a bi-weekly basis. I believe in the Orff pedagogical method, which essentially encourages children to create original music instead of just learning everything by rote. Please consider donating to a school full of dedicated musicians in the making!
