Welcome to Mrs. Ellis' page. My students are in a self-contained special needs classroom. We focus on practical academics and life skills daily. We, myself and my paraprofessionals, use a variety of teaching strategies to best meet each student's needs. We use technology, hands-on activities, and even go out into the community for our instruction. Even though there may be cognitive and/or physical limitations, we don't let that stop us from learning on a daily basis. There are some items that can make learning easier in my classroom, so hopefully with the help of this website, these needs will be met.
