Our students are eager to learn about the natural world around them. We are fortunate to have land adjacent to the school which has forest, wetland, and oak savanna habitats. Our whole school celebrates migrations each year, including the migrations of the tiny saw-whet owls that pass through our area and the sandhill cranes that have a migration stopover in our region. This year the theme of our school art program was birds. It's time we had the tools for students to study birds firsthand.
