The students will use the iPad to creatively show that they understand the content or to master a skill. I want them to understand that they don't always have to test, test, test to show their learning and understanding. Since my students are so tuned into technology, they can use the iPad to access apps and graphic calculators that will enhance their understanding of content. The iPad can be used for individualized learning, small groups and intervention. My students are at the point in their lives where they don't know whether they like or hate math. I want my classroom to be one of the reasons that they decide they still LOVE numbers! I want to show them how to effectively use technology to enhance their love of math while making it applicable to things they are familiar with.
