Every day, my fourth graders inspire to come to school and do all I can to help them learn. Doing this requires not only a safe environment, but also one that is encouraging, supportive, and stimulating. In order to do help them achieve their personal best, it is important for me to keep up with advancements in technology and flexible seating options. The future of the world is in my classroom today. It's time to give them everything they need (and deserve) in order to make their mark on society one day. I cannot adequately prepare my students for the society that exists today or will exist tomorrow, if I continue to prepare them for the society that existed yesterday. Help me to prepare my students for the role they'll play in the 21st century. The Chromebooks and seating options will help transform my classroom into one that is even more student-centered. Some of my students will be able to work to their fullest potential with the help of these seating options. This paves the way for more positive collaboration between students working on projects together. The use of Chromebooks will also help me to prepare them for responsible citizenship, as well as give opportunities to collaborate with others in our community and beyond.
