I am a passionate 3rd grade teacher working in a high poverty, Title I school in the Tulsa Pubic Schools district. My students face many challenges in their personal and educational lives. All of the families I work with are very disadvantaged and all of my students receive free/reduced lunches. Over sixty percent of our student population is Hispanic and identified as English language learners due to their language gap. I am inspired by my students every day. They do not let the challenges in their lives stop them from being curious, dedicated learners. I love my job and my students, and it is my goal to provide them with the education they deserve.
