I teach twenty-four first graders who attend a school in a city in New Jersey. My school has access to Title 1 funds and several of my students do not have as much access to technology at home as others. Some are living in families that are struggling economically and experienced some hardships as a result of Hurricane Sandy. They are hardworking and motivated students who would be motivated and successful with the use of applications on an iPad to reinforce and extend skills taught based on the Common Core Standards.

About my class
