My students are typical of Wyoming students. Many of our students come from farming or ranching backgrounds. The students are proud of their agricultural background. One of the largest employers for our town is a power plant located just outside of town. Another large employers is the railroad. The community as a whole is not financially affluent, but the people who are from here are proud of where they grew up. Students in our small community are not generally exposed to all that would be available to them in a large city including the benefits of technology. The students are isolated from higher education facilities. There is only one four year university in Wyoming and the nearest community college is over 100 miles away. The school is public and serves over 240 students in grades k-12.
