By having the table, I can set up centers where students can work collaboratively. Students will be able to have the space to use hands-on learning manipulatives while using social distancing and still working with a classmate. This group of students thrive off of learning from each other. By giving them the extra space, they can explore new ways of learning with a peer. With the space they will be able to use letter tiles to build and read words, sort word cards by the different parts of speech, use graphic organizers to create different writings, and have room for math manipulatives.
