My students are intelligent, brave, and steadfast. They make up the 9% of the student population that speak English as a Second Language in a building that consists of three different high schools. They are the only students who are integrated as a class across the three divergent schools. Some are preparing for the performing arts, others are preparing for careers in EMS, while others hope to enter the health field. Some students arrived in the US a week ago and some have been here for years. They are among the most well mannered students in the building and deserve resources to help them reach their goals.
