"Let's share our culture and tradition so we can respect and appreciate each other better". I teach French in a low income urban high school whose student body reflects the rich ethnic diversity of our city. I sponsor the Asian and the French Club whose memberships are made up of different nationalities. The cultural enrichment activities keep the students focused on coming to school and doing well so they can participate in the extracurricular events. Also it involves parents and community leaders from the international settings and nearby businesses who attend the events and help us out.
