My students come from a variety of economic levels. Our public school was blended two years ago from the three elementary schools in our city. Therefore, we have a wide variety of students from the entire city. Our population is middle class working families. Recently, it has been challenging to provide students with the needed incentive to pick up a book to read any time of day. Many of the students do not have role models that read at home. I hope to instill the love of reading by providing to them reading materials and a conducive atmosphere for reading.

About my class
