The use of headphones will allow my students the ability to participate in a wide variety of online activities. Students will be able to participate in self-regulated online academic programs, watch short video clips, listen to audio text, and create, record, and listen to their own recordings. Shouldn't all students have the same access to learning? Since not all students can afford their own headphones, not all students have the same access to them and some students share headphones or go without them. Not having their own headphones can make learning challenging. Not to mention, students are more engaged and interested in their learning if they can fully participate in the learning activity. I have seen how much students enjoy integrating technology into their learning. I hope that giving them the tools they need to successfully do that will help them enjoy it even more.
