My students are growing up in the violent streets of an urban city. These students are facing challenges many of us never even dream of. Growing up without stable parents, barely surviving off basic necessities, and being afraid to step out of their front door are just some of the many obstacles my students face daily. My job is to provide them with a safe, nurturing, and stable environment to learn, grow, and explore. Without basic school supplies, my students do not have the opportunity to rise above their obstacles and make a difference.

About my class
