Many of the high school students who will benefit from these resources have never conducted or even imagined a science experiment. Our students are grappling with the realities of poverty, gang violence, abuse, and homelessness. Our school serves some of the most at-risk youth in California. These students have been in the Juvenile Justice system or in foster care for the majority of their young lives. As a faculty, we are dedicated to offering these students the same educational opportunities as their more fortunate peers.

About my class
