My students attend a rural elementary school. They often times do not have access to the technology that many of us take for granted. When they are at school, they thrive on the opportunities to practice their skills on the computer. Often times, academic apps create a great opportunity to challenge a student who finishes work early, or help a student practice remedial skills so they can begin to perform on a similar level to their peers. Technology is the way of the future and for students who are already at a disadvantage, allowing them to experience as much technology as possible will give them a leg up in the work force, when most things are working against them.

About my class
