My kindergarten students are from a diverse multicultural and low socioeconomic community. Despite the challenges of distance learning I hope to offer creative and therapeutic materials to help address different learning modalities, encourage engagement, fill in some gaps, and add some joy to the kindergarten learning experience. My plan is to give my students the opportunity to get their hands on some fun, creative, and therapeutic manipulatives. They will be able to use the engaging and therapeutic Playdoh to form letters, numbers, and objects while improving their fine motor skills and having some fun. The colorful sidewalk chalk will add excitement and enhance learning as they write and draw outside in the fresh air. The set of kindergarten basic skills flashcards, which include letters, numbers, shapes, and colors, are all conveniently organized on a ring. These fun supplies, along with a list of ideas for their use, will be tucked into a red canvas bag to be presented to the students. Thank you for your generosity, thoughtfulness, and kindness. Thank you for helping make kindergarten fun!
