I teach in a Title 1, K-8 school surrounded by cows and fields. The majority of our kids are on free or reduced price lunch, and have very few life experiences outside of this little town. We are like one big family here because we are so small and we are privileged to get to nurture these kids from Kindergarten and as they blossom into young adults before leaving us to go to high school.
