My 35 energetic fourth graders live in a busy area and attend a public school in Southern California. We have a BIG school with over 1200 students in K-6th grades. It is not easy to get funding for technology when we need to replace textbooks, novels, science supplies, and just the basic paper and pencils. We have 9 students in our class that English is their second language and 3 that speak a different language primarily at home. They love to be engaged with technology tools. We are starting a bring your own device atmosphere in our room and they can't wait!
