Nestled on the plains of Oklahoma lies our school. In that school is our class, GUARDIANS OF THE KINGDOM. My students have had enough difficultly in their neighborhood schools that they have been reassigned to ME! Here we learn to play nice with others and use our inside voices. While it sounds like a dreaded "special" class my students work tirelessly to improve their academic, behavioral and emotional goals. This year we have 11 students. To quote JR, the child next to me, "We are a small class that is very intelligent and quiet." Two out of three isn't bad. They aren't that quiet. While my students have been moved to our class for less than A+ behaviors, I can assure you that this year they have made up for it. This year was our lowest year of behavioral write ups! When asked to describe our class, TJ says, "The class cares about each other, and we do a great job and we care about class work too. But not like the married care, you know?"
