Students at the school I teach at come from a high-poverty neighborhood, are predominantly Hispanic, Title 1 and English Language Learners. My 2nd grade student's learning levels range from 1st to 4th grade. Parents enroll their children at this school because it is known to be a collaborative setting where the parents, teachers, administrators and students all work together to produce learners for life.
