My students are a talented group of junior and senior girls. The class is open to boys as well, but none had signed up for this brand new course. The girls are currently certified in C.P.R., and upon successful completion of our first responder course, they will be certified first responders. They attend a rural, regional high school in western Massachusetts. Our district encompasses 5 towns. Many students drive to school, and to have them equipped with first aid kits in their vehicles would be an asset to our communities. Most of these students are going on to college next year to pursue some type of medical career.
