My students attend an accelerated school that serves grades 6-12. They are gifted, talented and extremely hardworking 7th and 8th graders. They all live in NY and many lost their homes due to Hurricane Sandy. But despite this, they continue to strive to do their best. Our school is displaced at the moment. We hope to return to our school soon but when we do, many teachers will have to start from scratch because their teaching materials and classroom supplies were destroyed. To make matters worse, these teachers were also affected personally by the hurricane. Unfortunately, I am one of them. With your help, my students and I can start over and get back to normal.
