My students are amazing creatures who walk into my classroom every day ready to soak up anything I tell them. I teach in a Title I school in Fairfax County, VA. Ninety-eight percent of the students in my school are on free or reduced lunch. Many have no books at home and lots have books but no one to read to them because their parents speak only Spanish or Arabic.
