My students attend a public Montessori School in North Carolina. We are a Title 1 school where my students enter with a variety of academic and social skills. My classroom involves students who enter school with developmental delays, fine motor delays and difficulty focusing on tasks. My students need materials that will capture and grab their attention so they are able to gain the skills needed to help them focus and grow. My students who have developmental and fine motor delays need more hands-on materials to help them interact directly with the materials. They have a love for learning and these materials will enhance their love by supplying more materials that are developmentally appropriate to meet their needs.
