Our school is located in rural eastern North Carolina. Many of our students struggle with social anxieties and disorders such as Asperger's, autism, and ADHD. Students with disorders like these struggle with focusing on classroom tasks, maintaining meaningful relationships, and conflict resolution. Since we are in such a rural area, school is frequently the only place these students are able to receive services which address these concerns.
