My students will be able to sit in the reading center and feel at home while reading at school. Right now we have two very small mats and a dilapidated bean bag chair for the reading area. I would love for my students to have a large rug and comfortable chairs that are inviting to encourage reading not only this year, but many years to come as well. I would love the reading area to be comfortable, it will engage them to want to read more! The more they read the more successful they will become as students in not only reading, but also in writing, math, science, social studies and beyond. My goal is for each child to want to read and be excited about learning!

About my class
