Our school district is a pre-k to 12th public school district that serving over 45,000 students. We are 24 elementary schools. Our school, is a Title 1 school serving 987 culturally diverse students (68% Hispanic, 27.7% African American, 2.6% Asian, 1.2% White, 0.5% Native American). Our school surpasses the district, and the state by all academic risk factors including, 93.7% economically disadvantaged, 82.2% "at risk", and 67.8% limited English proficiency.
