My students attend one of the oldest school in our county, 133 years and counting. The school is located on the outskirts of town in a predominately low income area. My students include 350 kindergarten through fifth graders. They come to PE once a week and they are expected to work hard and try everything. They enjoy being exposed to new skills and learning how to push their limits. Many of them do not have the means outside of school to participate in sports. I try my best to expose to them to the basic concepts and skills for physical activity that they can use later in life.
