Each student chooses a project to complete during their time after school. The projects can be anything the student is interested in. Many of our students are interested in building, however our budget doesn't allow us to purchase the materials that we need. These Legos and Kinex sets will give them the opportunity to learn about engineering and construction. Students learn how to follow a plan and design a structure. They follow a design and engineering process that connects with what they learn during the day in science and math classes. The skills they learn will benefit them in future endeavors.
