My students are high school Freshmen to Seniors. They live in a low income suburban area. Many students have not left the area that they live in and have not had many experiences in their lives. Because they live where there is a little of city light pollution they have not seen stars. We also live within miles of the San Andreas fault and need to know everything possible about earthquakes, since it is a daily risk in our lives.

About my class
