I teach Math to 79 5th grade students at a Title 1 school in New Orleans, Louisiana. They are the most fun-loving and laughter-inducing bunch. We are constantly curious about what we are learning, creating connections to other subjects and our "real life" outside of school, and teaching one another. Our core vision values are empathy, interdependence, assertiveness, positive attitude, and fierce urgency. We understand how important it is to love one another and persevere through challenges in order to reach our goal- improving our iLEAP standardized test scores and becoming successful members of our community of Gretna, Louisiana.

About my class
