The students at my school are 7th and 8th graders from a multicultural community. We have an awesome community with a lot of parental support. Education is taken very seriously and the students spend a lot of time studying and attending tutoring and language schools outside of school hours. For some, the only time they have to relax is during the half an hour of their lunch break, so I try to make it fun and entertaining. Every Friday, I set up some giant speakers and blast the music, but some of our technology is out of date. We could use an iPod that will hold a wide variety of music. Many students at our school are so busy that they don't get the opportunity to be exposed to the many genres of music available to them. They might not even be aware of how music can change your mood and convey emotion.
