My students come from an impoverished community in an inner city urban high school. The school is in it's sixth year of reform after being closed down for having one of the lowest test scores on standardized mandated state tests in Wisconsin. My students come to school with issues that some people find shocking. We need to support them in every way we can. My students don't understand why we can't have the things other school districts have. I am determined to give my students the same opportunities they currently are not afforded! Taking resources away from children it not what we need!
