The students we teach are our key to a successful future, but we need to work together to provide an education and resources that teaches our kids to examine life, options, and their actions through a critical lens because this is when learning becomes more than a grade, learning becomes a way for these compassionate hearts and bright minds to change the world. The students I teach live in communities where they are exposed to gangs, drugs, violence, and more injustice than any child should witness. However, despite these struggles my students have hearts of compassion and the willingness to learn because they have the hopes and dreams to become the future doctors, lawyers, and teachers of this world.

About my class
