My students are a part of a low socioeconomic society. I find myself searching for donations to assist in creating a spectacular learning environment for my students. I have requested a new kitchen set in the dramatic play area to replace the rather small set which does not allow for more than one child to play. The current set was brought from my home to replace the original kitchen that was inappropriate for the classroom. A new kitchen set in our dramatic play area will enable all students to take turns trying out the role of chef, parent, restaurant owner, community helpers, etc. This resource will inspire my students to explore family and community roles and discover which role fits their personality style.
