The school that the students attend is in a high diversity urban setting, and over 85% of our students in the building are on free and reduced lunch. I have a class of 6 special needs students that range in their readiness to read. Some are still working on basic sight words and beginning to read books, where some are working on comprehension skills to help them become successful readers.
